Street Naming Contest Launched

Have you ever wondered how a street gets its name? Who decides what name sounds the best or what theme there should be?

Now you have the chance to be the one making those decisions; thanks to the development team at Crumpit Woods, you might be the one naming a new street in Squamish.

Starting Thursday, March 14th you can enter your suggestions for the five new streets in the Crumpit Woods subdivision. “We wanted to involve the entire community and give everyone a chance to be a part of the development,” stated Amy Fast, Marketing Coordinator for the project, “especially those who plan to live at Crumpit Woods, they could be naming the street they live on. Plus, if your entry is selected you will receive a $250 Rona Squamish gift card!”

This is an invitation to get involved and get creative; build a neighbourhood theme or enter just one name. Make sure you take advantage of this unique opportunity to make your mark on Squamish. Entries will be accepted from Thursday, March 14th to Thursday, April 11th. Any Squamish resident can enter the contest from the Crumpit Woods website, Full contest rules can be found here.
